Following the postponement of the first Grammy 2022 date due to the Covid 19 Recording Academy pandemic, it officially announced the official date of the 64th year of the prestigious award.
Recording Academy Director General Harvey Mason Jr., in an official statement released on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, states that the event will move to Sunday, April 3, 2022 and will be broadcast from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Trevor Noah, a South African comedian, will remain the moderator of the ceremony, which will be broadcast and broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
It’s the first time television anywhere outside of L.A. or New York since 1973, when it took place in Nashville. And this is the first time the show has taken place in a city where the Recording Academy has no chapters.
This is the last time of a calendar year that the Grammy Awards have taken place since April 13, 1965, the seventh annual Grammy Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.
